Personal Licence
Under the Licensing Act you need a personal licence to sell alcohol in a pub. Personal Licences are granted by local licensing authorities and are only granted to people who hold an accredited qualification.
Anyone can take the Personal Licence examination, which is a series of multiple choice questions, but you will need a clear understanding of the law in relation to selling alcohol in order to achieve a pass.
Admiral Taverns has teamed up with CPL Training, which has over 70 venues throughout the UK, to offer a special course for anyone who wishes to get their Personal Licence. Attendees will be given a clear understanding of the law in relation to selling alcohol and will receive an accompanying handbook.
This one-day course cost just £115 plus VAT when you quote Admiral Taverns. For more information speak to the Admiral Taverns Recruitment Team or contact Steve Elmore on:
